About Spring Valley

Our Vision

Spring Valley Baptist Church vision is to glorify God through the proclamation of the person and the work of Jesus Christ.  Our vision is to have more worshippers on Sunday than church members; each member will be committed to the work and the call of Christ.  Each member will be ready to accept significant responsibilities for the congregation and understand the need of spiritual oversight for the growth and the movement of the church.

Our Mission

Our mission is to reach those who have not accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, to bring them into a personal relationship with Him(Jesus).  To disciple the believers through biblical profound and prophetic teaching, to become students of God's Word so they will be able to live an abundant life here and be able to stand in that last day.

~ Book Club Purpose ~

MISSION:The Book Club is to inspire and motivate the Christian believers through the written words of others; to meet interesting people with different ideas.  To read books that one might not have chosen and to offer a small group setting for Christian to fellowship and collaborate with one another.

VISION:  Our vision is to empower Christian believers to discover and operate in their purpose and gifts.

GOAL:  Our goal is to choose thought provoking books that coincide with the vision of the Overseer; that will expand our mind and understanding.  Also, for each Christian to read independently and to have discussions in a small group setting.
